Policies:
Cancellation
Policy:
There is a
90-day cancellation policy for June 1st through August 31 and a
60-day cancellation policy for all other months; I must be notified
in writing 60/90 days before arrival date that you wish to cancel,
even for one day of stay, for you to receive a full refund on your
deposit minus a $75 cancellation fee or 15% of your deposit, the larger of the 2. If you booked within the
60/90-day cancellation period, you have up to 7 days after you
booked your reservation to cancel or 30 days before your arrival
date (whichever comes first) and still receive 75% refund on your
deposit. After
the 60/90 day cancellation policy, we do not give partial day/week
refunds if you decide to shorten your stay for any reason. No refund will be given
unless it meets the above criteria. If you cancel
within 30 days of arrival or do not show up without a written
cancellatoin with at least 30 days notice before arrival, you
will be responsible for not only the deposit but the full price of
your stay. All cancellations must be in writing via email.
Part of our uniqueness is that we are not a motel chain, but
a small cabin rental company that provides secluded scenic cabins
without the crowds.
Because of this, we do have a strict cancellation
policy. We do not
provide vacation insurance and if you feel you need protection from
issues such as weather, employment, illness, financial, etc, please
buy vacation insurance.
Pet
Policy:
We only allow
pets (cats and dogs) 25lbs or smaller. We charge $55 to steam clean
the carpet on the Honeymoon Cabin and $85 on the Romantic Hearts Cabin
and $95 for the Large Family Cabin. We do not allow pets in our
Kitchen Kottage cabin. This charge is to steam clean the carpet due
to some of our guest have allergies. If you are caught
having a pet and not reported to us having a pet, you will be asked
to leave and you will not be given a refund. You must pick up your own
pets poop. If we have
to pick up your pets poop, you will be charged an additional
$25.00
For all stays that are 4 days or less, there
is a $55 cleaning charge for the Honeymoon cabin and Kitchen
Kottage and $85 for the deluxe/medium family cabin and $95 for the large
family cabin. All stays 5
days or longer, no cleaning charge will be
charged unless you have 6 or more people in a cabin.
There is no smoking in any
cabin.
We strongly recommend 4wd vehicle from October to May 15. All other months should be okay unless we get an unexpected snow storm. We cannot be responsible for weather. Please check the weather before you travel.
We have the right to cancel a
reservation at any time for any reason. We never and to do this and hope we never will. If our Pet and Smoking
policy are broken, we can cancel your remaining stay at the
cabin.
